12U PeeWee Travel Teams

The Avon Hockey 2026-2027 12U PeeWee Travel Program is designed for players ready to advance their skills in a more competitive and structured environment. This program is open to players 11 and 12 years of age. At the PeeWee level, athletes continue to build on core fundamentals while developing greater game awareness, positioning, teamwork, and hockey IQ. This stage emphasizes both individual skill growth and team play, preparing players for higher levels of competition.

Players in the 12U Travel Program typically participate in two practices per week and two games over the weekend, providing consistent ice time and valuable opportunities for development throughout the season.

The season runs September through March, with the primary home rink located on the campus of Avon Old Farms School. During the season, some practices may also be held at the International Skating Center of Connecticut.

Avon Hockey is committed to providing a positive, competitive, and development-focused experience that supports the growth of young athletes both on and off the ice, helping players build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for the game.
