28th Annual Thanksgiving Tournament
Registration for the 28th annual tournament is now open. Please use the registration button below to register your team.
Space is limited so please register as soon as possible. Registration will close on Sunday November 5, 2023.
What:
Avon Hockey is hosting their 28th Annual Thanksgiving Tournament November 24-26, 2023.
Location:
Games will be played at Avon Old Farms, Simsbury Farms, ISCC Simsbury and Veterans Memorial rink (West Hartford)
Divisions:
Mites: A, A1, & (2) B divisions
Squirts: A, A1, & B
Peewees: A, A1, & B
Bantams: A & B
Format:
There is a three game minimum for each team.
Mite cross-ice games will be (2) 22-minute halves.
Squirt/Peewee/Bantam tournament games will be (3) 12 minute periods.
Entry Fees:
Mite Teams are $850.
Squirt, Peewee and Bantam are $1,300.
A non-refundable deposit of $400.00 is due by Friday October 13, 2023. Full payment is due by Friday November 10, 2023. Payments may be made by check or Venmo. Checks should be made payable to “Avon Hockey” and mailed to Doug Ward/Avon Hockey, 186 Haynes Road, Avon CT 06001. For Venmo, payments should be sent to Avon Hockey @acfyha. Registration will not be deemed complete until payment is received. A copy of your USA Hockey Team Registration and 20 game sheet labels should be mailed to the tournament director no later than November 10, 2023.
Awards & Amenities:
- Medals will be awarded to players from both championship and runner-up teams in all divisions as well as team trophies.
- Player/coach giveaways
- Tournament t-shirts and sweatshirts available

Admission: There will be NO admission charge for these games.
